Patient Information
Before your appointment.
We want you to feel informed, comfortable and confident before your appointment. The information below explains what you can expect when visiting Bloom Aesthetic Clinic, along with the policies that help us provide safe, respectful and personalised care.
Acknowledgement of Country
Bloom Aesthetic Clinic respectfully acknowledges the Palawa people as the Traditional Custodians of Lutruwita (Tasmania). We pay our respects to Elders past and present and recognise their enduring connection to Country, culture and community. We are committed to providing an inclusive, welcoming and respectful environment for everyone.
Our philosophy
Our philosophy is simple: celebrate what makes you uniquely you. Cosmetic medicine should enhance your natural features, not change them.
Whether your goal is to support healthy, confident ageing, improve your skin health or simply feel a little more refreshed, our recommendations are always guided by safety, education and what is genuinely in your best interests.
We believe cosmetic medicine should never feel rushed or sales-driven. We take the time to understand your concerns, listen to your goals, educate you about your options and recommend treatments that are appropriate for you. Sometimes that may mean recommending no treatment at all.
Our hope is that every patient leaves feeling heard, informed, respected and confident in the decisions they make about their care.
Consultations and booking deposits
Every appointment at Bloom begins with an individual consultation and clinical assessment.
A booking deposit is required to secure your appointment. This deposit is not an additional charge and will be credited towards treatment where applicable.
Lines & Facial Movement — 30 minutes — $100 booking deposit
Includes consultation, clinical assessment and, where clinically appropriate, time to proceed with treatment. Your deposit will be credited towards treatment performed during this appointment.
Facial Volume & Balance — 60 minutes — $150 booking deposit
Provides additional time for a comprehensive consultation and, where clinically appropriate, time to commence one treatment. Your deposit will be credited towards treatment performed during this appointment.
Consultation Only — 30 minutes — $100 booking deposit
A dedicated consultation for those seeking professional guidance, an individual assessment and a personalised treatment plan without treatment being performed on the day. Your deposit may be credited towards a clinically suitable treatment booked within 12 weeks.
Treatment is never guaranteed and will proceed only when considered clinically appropriate and with your informed consent. There is no obligation to proceed.
If Nurse Sarah determines that treatment is not clinically suitable, your deposit will be refunded. If you are suitable but decide not to proceed, the deposit covers the consultation, assessment and personalised planning provided.
Our usual cancellation and rescheduling policy applies to all bookings.
Booking deposits and cancellations
Appointments at Bloom are reserved exclusively for you. A booking deposit of $100 or $150, depending on the appointment selected, is required to secure your booking.
When treatment proceeds, your deposit will be credited towards the cost of your treatment. Please refer to our consultation policy for information about Consultation Only bookings.
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. With sufficient notice, your deposit may be transferred to your rescheduled appointment or refunded if you cancel.
Cancellations or rescheduling within 48 hours of your appointment, and failure to attend, will result in the booking deposit being forfeited. A new deposit will be required to secure another appointment.
Exceptional circumstances will always be considered with understanding and at Bloom’s discretion.
Children at Bloom
Children are welcome provided they can remain safely seated and independently occupied throughout your appointment.
For safety reasons, children cannot be held during treatment.
If your child becomes unsettled or requires your full attention, we may recommend pausing or rescheduling your appointment to ensure everyone’s safety.
Pregnancy & breastfeeding
For the safety of both mother and baby, Bloom Aesthetic Clinic does not provide cosmetic treatments during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
If your circumstances change after booking, please let us know and we’ll happily assist you in rescheduling your appointment.
Clinical photography
Clinical photographs may be taken to assist with assessment, treatment planning and documentation. These photographs form part of your confidential clinical record.
Separate consent will always be obtained before any images are used for education, marketing or promotional purposes.
Choosing not to provide consent for marketing images will never affect the care you receive.
Treatment suitability
Patient safety always comes first.
Bloom Aesthetic Clinic may recommend postponing or declining treatment where it is not considered clinically appropriate, safe or likely to achieve a reasonable outcome.
Where appropriate, alternative treatment options or referral to another healthcare professional may be recommended.
