Lip Enhancement in Hobart
Full lips aren’t just about volume. They’re about shape, balance and proportion.
Full lips aren’t just about volume. They’re about shape, balance and proportion. At Bloom Aesthetic Clinic in Hobart, lip volumisation treatments are designed to restore harmony, define borders, and create subtle enhancements that suit your natural features. Sarah Munnings, a Registered Nurse, performs every treatment with attention to detail and care.
Lip Treatments
Subtle shape. Soft volume. Natural results.
Lip volumisation, sometimes referred to as lip reshaping or augmentation, is a non-surgical treatment that supports shape and balance, discussed at your consultation. This treatment is suitable for those experiencing age-related volume loss, naturally thin lips, or asymmetry. Each treatment at Bloom Hobart is led by Sarah Munnings, an AHPRA Registered Nurse with experience in cosmetic and skin treatments, and tailored to enhance, rather than alter, your natural expression.
Balanced Proportions
Lip volumisation treatments at Bloom are tailored to preserve harmony between the upper and lower lip. Small adjustments are made to support your natural anatomy without overfilling.
Defined Shape
Over time, the lip border can lose definition. This treatment restores crispness to the edges, refines the cupid’s bow, and improves lip contour without affecting movement.
Hydrated Finish
Lip enhancement can support subtle volume, softer lip texture and a smoother, more hydrated appearance that still looks like you. Suitable options and what to realistically expect are discussed with you at your consultation.
What to expect
The consultation process.
Every treatment begins with a personalised consultation with Registered Nurse Sarah. During this session, your medical history, skin health, and aesthetic goals are reviewed in detail. Sarah will assess the shape and structure of your lips, ensuring the treatment is safe and appropriate for your anatomy. This includes identifying any history of cold sores, allergies, or circulatory issues.
This session is also your opportunity to ask questions and understand the expected outcome. Bloom Hobart supports informed decision-making and will only proceed with treatment once you have a clear understanding of the procedure, recovery, and suitability.
Downtime & recovery
Immediately following treatment, mild swelling is expected. For most people, this is most noticeable in the first 24 to 48 hours and may cause the lips to appear temporarily larger than the final result. Minor bruising or tenderness is also common.
Aftercare
If you proceed with treatment, you’ll receive clear aftercare instructions specific to the treatment provided, along with information about what to expect and when to contact the clinic if you have any concerns.
Risks & safety
All care is provided by an AHPRA registered nurse who screens for suitability and manages any concerns. Specific risks are discussed with you personally at your consultation, and after-hours clinical support is available following any appointment.
Bloom provides post-treatment clinical support, including an after-hours pathway should you have an urgent concern following treatment.
